Fawkner Park, MelbourneThe state of Victoria - and its capital, Melbourne - will endure another day of extreme weather conditions tomorrow, Tuesday, with temperatures expected into the mid 30s and northerly winds gusting to 75 km/hour. After the driest start to the year since the 19th century, my thoughts are with them.

WHAt a contrast! We drove to N Vic last week. South of Goulburne it just got dust-bowl drier and drier.
