No no not hand held, Ann. I rested my camera on the flat top of that black fence you can see running around the edge of the field. I set it on 10 secs ... and this is the result. The green is not post processed in any way. The camera is set to vivid but has been for a while now. I think the luminosity is the effect of the bright training lights on the grass which is in very good condition.
This is a beautiful photograph but I think what I love most about it is how it evokes the sound, the action, the sensations of games past and games to come. Really brilliant shot.
I'm not a sports fan but I do find sporting ovals interesting. I'm back catching up on the backlog ... it's so exciting seeing what is there to unwrap in my favourite blogs.
