I support the Iranian people in their endeavour to shape a society to their own liking. It is not a struggle for western style democracy and freedom. It is a struggle for self-determination. I am a small part of a world-wide hum that recognises that our emphasis on the individual should not replace their emphasis on the collective or the communal.
I support self-determination for all peoples through communal watchfulness. The world is watching.

Indeed we are watching!
Yes. Just yes.
I'm with you, Julie. I'm with them. The world is watching and we're not going to look away.
Hear, hear, and hoping that our friends and fellow bloggers are safe and remain so.
Great photo and I'm with you!
Julie,

I support it too! I have seen the video on YouTube of the girl which got shot. It remained with me for a few days.
I have added the remaining two bricks the past days... :)
Cheers from Marcel
The world is watching. I hope that and some prayers will work for the people.
In response to your comment about the gloves.
Actually he had a horrible case of eczema on his hands that worried him to death. Always itching and scratching. The dermatologist tried everything but continued to give him medicine and salve. It was my idea to buy him a pair of gloves and cut, with scissors, some slits in the fingers for ventilation. I had him coat his hands with the salve and then put the gloves on and he wore the gloves day and night and it wasn't long until the eczema disappeared. So in that picture was about when he began wearing them.
I am about to leave a response back on your blog, Abe.
So well said, Julie. How lucky we are to live where our votes count and are counted.
And in response to your comment on Menton - I so agree. I worked hard for my wrinkles!
I will just say here that Alex also had the bleeding...
on my blog again.
impressive mass social movement
I love when people are together for a good cause
Sunday, July 28th is a worldwide day (and City Daily Photo blogger day) of blogger support for Iranian self-determination. Check out the CDP front page for more information. Also more info in the Cafe section of the forum. Julie, we are free to share the code with any blogger, and of course to ask bloggers worldwide to join us.
Honest. Get a pair of gloves and see if she will try it. It worked for Alex. He got used to wearing them filled, more or less, with medicine and they also kept him from scratching his legs making them bleed.
Hear, hear! Well said.
Great Photo !! I am sure everyone is with you..Unseen Rajasthan
