I love this picture, we can imagine it all, good or bad news. A very beautiful light

Yes, a lovely photo. Are we going to get into a guessing competition on the person behind this one?

*grin* ... okay ... what can you tell from this hand? What does the entire image tell you?

Nice shot - the light on the paper really makes it.

Do we have to guess the age, income and eye colour of this guy, too?

What makes you think it is a guy?

Whatever the gender of the subject, this is a beautiful hand.

This is the hand of a young man - late 30s - who was frequently in the same queue as me at the recent Writers' Festival. He as tall, with a dark shoulder length bob which he held back with a head-band. He had a ready, intelligent, aware smile and lovely olive skin.

Amazing. I had picked it for a mans hand and writer's festival attendee but hadn't got down to age ... was trying to date him from his wedding ring. Wedding rings were not popular for men until the 1970s so he had to be less than 50. Wedding rings were much chunkier at that time so he had to be less than 50, more like 40. A closer look at the skin would have suggested 40 or under.
