... with open eyes, and a generous heart, there is awe 'round many a corner ...
A beautiful capture Julie! I like the red paint on that boat.
Everything is beautiful in this image and the title is perfect.
Great photo. I like the red vs B&W contrast.
A painting. It reminds me of some back channel in Florida! That red boat makes it. So who's Nicky and Rory? And why does Nicky love Rory? ;-)
So,here is how my wacky brain goes: come along with it.Rory is the thin, sleek spiv of a tender dressed up to the nines in his best red suit. Nicky is a bit of a train-wreck, big and blouwsy, and sitting low in the water. Past her prime, but with the courage to dream. And one morning she rouses sleepily to the pleasures of Rory having eased himself back into the slot beside her.
@ I like that, Julie. Wacky, but it makes sense!
That boat can only be red for this picture to work. Also, I love following your work, so I wanted to let you know that I nominated you for a Kreativ Blogger award on my blog.
Another pice of art out of a grotty area. You're magic. The red boat does the trick.
Red rule wins again. A wonderful shot, I just love it's clarity, it's age worn working harbour feel. One of my favourites which is a big claim given that so many of your photos are superb.
I can smell the sea and taste the salt on my lips.
Yes, the read boat makes this shot.
