Skywatch - head in the clouds

Having spent the week weaving in and out of the Jubilee Park viaduct, today we inspect the track and the tram. The Lite-rail is powered by electricity fed through above-ground cables.

From the vantage point of Jubilee Tram Stop, I can catch the next tram as it buzzes effortlessly toward me over the viaduct. These shots were taken about 4:30pm into the setting early Spring sun.

From Jubilee Stop, the tram enters the Glebe tunnel which takes it through the spur that is Glebe Point Road. Immediately on the other side of this tunnel is the Glebe Tram Stop which is very close to Wentworth Park and the Pyrmont FishMarkets.

What have other Skywatchers around the world found as they have been looking into the skies this week?

I'm with everyone else - the first photo is special Julie.

The first photo looks like art deco. With the tram shots, you can almost see them trailing streamers of springtime.

I like the light rail ... very convenient when you live over in that part of the city. Have you taken a ride on it out to the end ... we did once, just for the heck of it.

I like the interesting regression from the wonderful silhouetted sky shot to the dark tunnel of the last shot. Or I'm seeing too much?

It took me quite a while to work out the order of the images, VP. However, I would not think anyone to think that I consider trams to be going into the dark-ages. Just the opposite actually. I do like it when readers think deeply about a post and I thank you for your interest.
