Salamanca Markets: A way to earn a quid

This outdoor vaudeville entertainer cajoled, wooed and amazed a crowd of close to one hundred souls for well-nigh an hour and in return his hat was showered (and filled) with notes (blue as he requested), as well as small golden coins.

I suppose it is mean-spirited to muse upon whether he had an ABN number or whether he sent a completed return each financial year to the Deputy Commissioner ...

Fantastic captures. Perhaps discretion is the better part of valour?

I wouldn't do that for a quid. But I'm glad he did as thy photos are kinda cool.

Julie, I love the story you left on my blog about 'reading' without glasses. Welcome home. Hope it was a fabulous journey.

Exactly how I reacted: I instinctively clasped my hand around MY throat as the sword went down! He had tears of "smarts" in his eyes immediately after ...

BC: Thank you for the welcome! It was a fine break from the grindstone. I am not going to quibble whether I show photos that are not Sydney on my CDPB. I judge that as well as highlighting my city it is okay to highlight other parts of my country, too. So = Tassie it is for the rest of this week.

Oh dear. That made my throat hurt! He deserved the "notes" for that! I really like the last portrait.

I can't imagine...and always get a bit queasy when I see a sword swallower!

Very effective photos, Julie.

Thanks for the info on the chimney pots...I thought maybe it was like my family...we've got a lot of pots, but we need them 'cause there is always at least one crackpot!
