This is a beautiful shot, Julie. The "pickets" above and below frame it well. The fancy scroll work of the chair/table, the shadows and chap in the background all combine to look like a scene from a 1940's movie. Beautifully executed. Melbourne Daily Photo
Beautifully done! I love black and white. It took me a minute to pick up on the reflection as there was so much to see in this shot. Love the noir feel to it. Kathy
Great catch, I thought it was a fence, didn't realize it was a reflection in a table top until I looked closer. It is the edge of the awning being reflected. Very nice!
Presently beautifully in B&W! I agree with Susan in that the picture could tell many stories. I remember being given images in creative writing class and asked to compose a story. This one would be a marvelous focal point with which to tell a many stories with many endings. Thanks you for your visit to my Pontoon Pleasures shot and the wonderful comment you left. :)

Thisis a particularly rivetting photo, as there are so many elements that could be part of a story yet to be told. Well done!
Very nice picture and I see reflections in more tha one place. I sometimes struggle with black and white. This is excellent.
You have a wondrous eye.
Marvelous composition and in B&W too. Black & White is special and this photo was meant to be monochrome. Nice work.
Cool b&w shot and reflection!
Happy weekend reflection

lovely photo and reflections...
Love how the glass table top subtly lends a sense of dimensional reality to the view!
As others have said this works great in B&W and the refections make for a complex and interesting scene. Very appealing.
Very nice composition and original photo!
The heavily ornate chairs and tables are precious, great and neat reflection!
You have a good eye...and obviously a restive, reflective spirit...not only so, but you see well in black and white!
Very well composed photograph. Lots of lines and shadows and reflections.
Have a great weekend!
Awesome! Beautiful in mono.
Enjoy the weekend.
Took me a while to actually see what I was looking at here. Interesting shot.
You have a good eye. Love that there are so many different reflections that keep your eye wandering...
This is quite a contrast to the beery English-style pubs. Even the people in the photo look like they might be French.
Great photo...I love the light and shadows suggesting an intimate setting....
Peaceful ambiance! Nice.
This is so clever! The photo turned out very well.
I guess I missed this post last week...this is one great mono and reflections...great blog here Julie.
Great shot. Reflections and shadows competing for attention.
