Then let's keep dancing

The daily challenge of anagrams and homophones
Of reversals and hidden double entendres
Define the morning ritual of a single person
Worrying her knob of a pencil
through the cryptic clues
within the daily crossword
as rain spatters on the perspex roof
of a busy railway concourse -
Still alone amidst the bustle.
Head nod to Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller for the title.

I love crosswords but usually do them at home on the deck or if it's too cold in the garage while drinking coffee and smoking my pipe.

I think Mildred is struggling with the "24 across" question!

I love this lady. Fun hat, red coat - says a lot about her and she does crosswords so keeps her brain busy. Your words, as always, are beautiful.

Love the colors of this photo and the expression of the lady. I hope she's going to solve it...

Cryptic clues ... make me more than worry my pencil ... I find them impossible.

hah! This is my next diversification!

Many years ago I used to be quite good at CC. However, it takes a few months to learn all the techniques the setters use and the general form of clues. But, as with many hobbies, experience and perseverance makes all the difference.

VP, I hope she solves it too. Somehow I think she sits there each morning until it is complete!

She is a treasure and so is the photo. I like doing the crossword after brekky and think how lucky i am that i don't have to jump up and go to work before its finished.

I love people watching. I sometimes wonder if some of the people I photograph on the sly ever happen to see themselves on my blog??? I wonder if I'm on someone ele's blog?

I'm glad there are others who enjoy people watching. It is interesting to wonder if you are on an unknown blog. I would love to think so.

I love people watching, too. She is really focused on solving her crossword. Nice catch!
