not familiar with stamps but from the looks of it, seems to be expensive n priceless!
I like the barracks the best. The library is a bit over the top. I remember those stamps and think I have them in my collection, which I must do something about soon.
BTW we have lived there for 20 years.
I had a massive stamp collection until about 8 years ago when I gave the lot away to a young boy in a High School I worked in. Regret it now - but hey!
20 years ... 20 years. I guess I lived in a house in St Ives from 1978 to 1998.

It's for the photographers community I've joined. They will nominate the best photos. I don't think I've any posibility to win, but it's just for fun and it's a way to improve because they are very though.

I remember the 1962 and 63 stamps well. The photos are fantastic ... the lights seem brighter this year or perhaps it is the darn good photography making them so magical.
Your Barracks shot is much better than mine. I don't remember that particular design on the Library either, must have missed it.
These colours of much more to be enjoyed by night than during the day, I assume.

I've been away from your marvellous blog for far too long. Funnily enough yesterday - when you commented on mine - thankyou - I had yours open ready to comment and got lost in the wonders of it. I adore this series, Julie. How clever you are - photos and words, of course. Stunning! Today's stamps are so beautiful - whatever happened to subtlety? - they had it in those days it seemed.
How beautiful to paint the old buildings with light and how clever.
This way of painting with light is specatcular, I already told you about the stamps, but these are nice but less familiar...
