... with open eyes, and a generous heart, there is awe 'round many a corner ...
How lovely to see cyber friends step into the real world.
Bravo, Julie. Votre poste est excellent! Un beau geste à Eric.
How did you take photos of yourself when you are at the table?
Good one, I've been building up a bit of a collection of grafitti- interesting stuff. I haven't seen these Opera Bar shots, who took them?
Ann, remember Michael who was here with Eric? At one stage he took my camera and made a lot of shots for me. They were mostly from Eric's wonky angle too, but many were blown by the angle of the sun that day. Which BTW was 17th March 2009.I have a collection of graffiti, too. The good stuff is mostly in Newtown. I found an okay one in Double Bay the other day. Will schedule it for soon.
Isn't our Eric just the nicest man? I have so enjoyed getting to spend some time with him in Paris. And just think Julie, because of Eric, you and I found each other mon amie!V
He's just great! And I shall endeavour to meet him on his own home turf this coming September!I will be checking out your lingo tomorrow, m'dear. In the sweetest school-m'am way, of course!
I love the graffiti. great lines and color. and the photos of eric and you and friends are a nice addition.
Great shot, very "teninesque"
What wonderful happy memories in those photographs and a lovely tribute to Eric, Julie. I really like the graffiti too.
How wonderful that you got to meet the great Eric himself! That is so cool. And I rarely say this about graffiti, but I really like this one!
a great tribute to Eric
Great image and great to see you and Eric in the post! Cheers Julie!
I love the mural :) Great tribute!
Julie, I love your coining "Teninesque" in someone elses comments. And this is. Very. I have been getting to know a bit more about the art form you feature and have come from a place like Hilda's to getting acquainted with the art form and some of its local practitioners and aficionados and gained an appreciation. The one you feature today is splendid. I love these shots Michael took for you, and thank you for sharing them. We are lucky Eric is a bit of a globe trotter and visits his blog friends on their turf. Wishing you a wonderful Parisian visit next fall! Michael came here to Seattle last year and it was very fun to meet him in person. Wonderful captures of your fun here!-Kim
Ah, a fine tribute to The Man, Julie. Thanks too for sharing the pix of your gathering. Your graffiti image really pops!
Happy anniversary to CDP. Wow you actually met the founder. The graffiti is rather good.
Wonderful! Makes me wish I was there.
