Fantastic composition julie, I like the effect of the wall with the colours of the 2 men.
Very nice.

Excellent, Julie. I love that both the men are silver-haired and wearing blue and white. What a good capture and caption.

"If you don't stop talking like that, I'm going to punch you in the face!"

"Oh yeah, just remember the cops are right behind me!"

"No, they're not. That's the OLD police station!"

"Oops!"

There's a million stories here. I think I could use any number of your pictures as writing prompts. I won't though, without your permission. :)

I always think it's terrific when you use a bit of typical Aussie slang like 'chin wag' in your titles or your posts. Thanks for your contribution to my post today. Your suggestions about the rum vats led me down the right track to the caneite vats. Good Sydney teamwork in action. :)

Multi-talented. You capture body language so well, both in pictures and words (Riff).

Me wonders what they were talking about.

I think the man on the left is giving the one on the right directions! He looks like a tourist and perhaps a bit lost! I love this - when we were in Poland we got lost and eventually found an Argentinian man who could speak English and he helped us on our way! LOL!

I agree with Janet, the guy in the right looks like a tourist and the other doesn't. As such, I'm not sure they would we having that much of 'chin wag' ... unless they are like my husband who will strike up a long conversation with anybody.

Interesting that you should both think that. All I know is that the conversation lasted about ten minutes and I have images of the guy on the right in many poses whereas the chap on the left was always the dominant one. The stance on the left is very relaxed for a tourist. I cannot determine what the booklet is but it is not a tourist brochure.

He could be a photographer ... I wear a bakpak like that everywhere.

Great shot and quite a contrast between them. You can tell immediately by their skin, tan, manners, ... which one spends most of his time outside, while the other spends more time in front of his computer screen...
