Beneath the waters of Roebuck Bay and out into the depths of the Indian Ocean, grow the wild oysters which lured pearling masters such as Ancell Gregory, and led to the inhumane conditions for divers endured by enslaved indigenous boys and desperate Japanese islanders. Yet the beauty on the surface is bewitching.

WOW!!! Such spectacular sunsets!!!
Oh yes sunset, thank you. I will one day get to Cable Beach to see if for myself. In the meanwhile I will be satisfied with the gull flying into the sunset. Lovely.
This reminds me so much of my own visit to Broome in August 2008. The sunsets and locale are beautiful.
2nd one is beautifully composed. There's nothing like sunset over the coast.
We see none of the terror here...only the beauty.
Beautiful colours in those sunset shots.
Filled with serenity after viewing your blog today. Thank you for keeping my dreams alive.
The photos are ... absolute PEARLERS!

Ahhhh memories. Isn't it a beautiful place. Snap I took similar pics too.
Beautiful sunset shots...always interesting to ponder what lies beneath...
Stunning. And deceptively serene, I think?
