No. 275 - Sedition

What could possibly be seditious about a men's hairdresser?
Yet that is the name emblazoned on the red sign.

Like this blue tone combined with
the green door and the red bill. greatly composed!

The mood of the shot is so somber - yet that darkness shows off the splashes of color very nicely!!!

Oh the color here is marvelous. Kind of a fancy schmancy window for the men! :)

The old tiles and leadlight windows give this shop so much character.

I bet they do a good cut too.
Outside a men's hairdresser in Qld. the sign said, "Come in here for a good clip around the ear hole"....I kid you not.

Such a great composition, such a satisfying asymmetry, so much earthy texture and color. And don't you just want to be a fly on the wall inside there and listen to the conversations?

This picture is so beautiful on so many levels, composition and color being foremost in my appraisal. The repetition of the red, the jarring acid green next to the blues, all of the rectangles, the squares inside the rectangle. No curves at all. Wonderful.
As an aside, I see that you are my "follower". I am so new to this so please, if you will, take a minute and explain to me how this works. I would like to be YOUR follower but don't know how to do it!

Maybe if you have your hair cut in there, the barber will try to coerce you into overthrowing the government.

These buildings and street scenes are so different from where I live: in The Hague. Love it.

I think this is where I left off. Have got some bandwidth in the month left to do some catch up and you're my first port of call.

Sedition = overthrow in government. Maybe it's got something to do with red hair.

*guffaw* about seditious red hair!

You have made my night! I am sitting here catching up with Riff and trying to get organised for going to France. I thought you were out the back of Bourke, literally.
