In days of old when knights were bold

In April, I attended my very first historical reenactment festival. 'Iron Fest' was held in Lithgow a small town west of Sydney. The enthusiasm of the participants was infectious.

Goodness! Someone has spent quite some time polishing that helmet. Wonderful reflection, including you, I think?

What a unique shot. I love the fur lined rim around the helmet. And very colorful too. Great idea.

Wonderful, Julie! I snapped something similar at the Fete in Roquebrune village last year - your shot is far better!

Super, very creative as always.

Julie, did you say you'd be somewhere in France soon? Do let me know (but I'll be away until the end of the first week of October).

Julie, this is just cool - great reflection shot. And I bet the festival was a hoot. (I thought you were going to Paris?)

What a great shot. If I had gone to Ironfest I am sure I would not have spotted this, there is just something about your ability to see these types of things.

Thanks for your comment :-)
Wonderful, specially I love the last picture.
Also I remember when I as a child running through the stubble, crawled up on the stack og straw and jumped down.
