The smile on his mouth showes a confidence to the photographer, YOU!!! Great shot ;-)

Love the slight smile and the spark in his eyes!

great portrait, excellent in monochrome. Cropping adds to the image. two thumbs up!

Excellent, now that's a portrait. Who is he?

PS. Did you get my email sent during the week?

Julie said...

Firstly, no cropping involved at all. This is per camera! I converted to b&W. Secondly, it is my son.

Ann, yes got your email. Shall respond later this evening.

Oh how different your portraits are from those at the beginning on 100 strangers. You are not only lopping off heads but chins as well now and doesn't it make the image dynamic.

Taa, it was taken in the same session as the one of his hands with the phone (and indeed his portrait of my eye). I sat across the pub table from him as he 'fiddled' and just focussed on him hoping he would look up eventually. Bingo!

Great portrait, I love the framing.

Jim said...

Yeah, the framing creates a bit of mystery. Somewhat intriguing.

You caught him as a b & w should be caught - well done :-)
