Theme Day - Time

The difference 5 seconds makes. One moment, my palette is empty, the next there is an actor upon the stage. I could have shot his coming, rather than his going. But, the way I see it, going is, perhaps, the best way to shoot some men.

Great realization for this theme day!

Don't they say something in the theatre about timing being everything? His appearance and position transform the shot.

Now you see them, now you don't. Timing is everything...

All your jacaranda photos were wonderful!

LOL Now, now, Julie. Not all men are that bad. ;-)

Great capture.

Not quite sure how to enter! I think I was too late! So here are two 'time' poems just in case.

Interesting take on the theme.

Just love it Julie. I also love the irony of it being in Nimrod St. Does the theatre still operate?

Mark, yes the building is still there and still operating as a theatre (!!) The building is The Stables and the theatre company is now The Griffin. Not sure when the Nimrod bit the dust.

Great sequence shots, Julie! I think he looks pretty fine but perhaps beauty is more than skin deep and fleeting as the passing seconds...

Love your take on this theme, Julie. As always so original and I fell about at the last comment.

I meant 'your last sentence' not the last comment but on reflection, Virginia is saying the same thing! Too early in the morning here and I need to concentrate.
