Thursday 7 am, Eddy Avenue, waiting for the 378 to Bronte |
All my words come back to me In shades of mediocrity Like emptiness in harmony I need someone to comfort me Homeward bound I wish I was Homeward bound Home, where my thought’s escaping Home, where my music’s playing Home, where my love lies waiting Silently for me. |

I can sing the words and I know the tune, but can't quite remember the singer, is it Simon and Garfunkel? I could just Google I guess. So many birds in the background pecking away at the grass seeds.
Take care Julie

Yes, Simon and Garfunkel. Paul Simon is such a prodigious talent, and Arthur Garfunkel was SO cute with all that curly hair.
Perfect picture to go with the lyrics, Julie.
I think about you often, my friend, and hope you are well.

Lots of problems with Blogger yesterday and today, so maybe my comment disappeared.
I love this Simon and Garfunkel song, but I sense so much sadness in it — not the people waiting for the bus (good shot, by the way) but...I hope you are well, my friend.

A terrific cross section of people waiting at the bus stop. I had trouble commenting yesterday. Hopefully Blogger will eventually restore any lost/missing comments.
A slice of life - all waiting to go home and a wonderful song.
