They were neant to be playing Touch Footy with their mates, late on an Autumn Sunday afternoon, as the moist air rose from Rushcutter's Bay and wound its way up the escarpment to Paddington.
If that dog were truly man's best friend, he would tell his owner to get a solid colored pair of running shorts. A woman's best friend would say that. But, then again, the shorts would look better on a woman, IMHO.

Love these Julie.
I love the way the dogs tail is straight out when in 'retrieve mode'. Thanks again Julie for your help yesterday.
Best wishes
Grace
Wonderful shots, Julie!
Our Lindy doesn't know she's a retriever. If anyone threw a stick for her, she'd lie down to watch.

My, what a handsome fellow. His human is nice too.

oh, the energy in that second to last shot. fab.
'fraid I can't get past the shorts in this one.
Those shorts are not his friend though. :P
Dogs are very good at training humans. They both look like they are having fun.
A good way for both to get some exercise.
Dog???? There's a dog in the pictures???
Eveyone is having the best fun and what a gorgeous tree that is in the background. The trunk is glorious.
These are hilarious! I especially like the last photo where he is waiting so patiently for them to turn around and throw that stick again.
It's like watching a little movie ... great characters.
