How to provide a fresh perspective upon this building which is known and loved across the length and breadth of this land? Hopefully, I have found some fresh angles for your enjoyment.

Fabulous new perspectives, my friend. The opera house is loved by many people around the world, including me and my youngest brother. We attended a play there in 1982 and enjoyed it immensely.

Oh some marvellous shots here, Julie. What fun you had filling this theme. I love the shot with the tall buildings behind the opera house and the one with the boat is spectacular in shape, light, composition.

Well done, Julie. You managed to show me the Opera House like I have never seen before.

My favourite is the first shot. I like how it is all about the OP and not the Coathanger as double act.

I always come here because you post before we do. Once again, I'm ashamed of my meager offering when you have overindulged us and aren't we happy about that! I think the bottom is my favorite but you have discovered many new and wonderful angles on this wonderful place Julie.

I've definitely not seen the Sydney Opera House from any of those angles, makes the old girl more realistic and charming :-).

They're all great but the colour in the first one is amazing.

Beautiful shots Julie. The colour and lines in the first one are amazing, but I particularly like the views from up in the Botanic Gardens - nice to see her framed by trees and grass.

Good series of shots. Its a challenge to find a different way to show the OH. Particularly like the first shot. How did you get the colour - WB?

Fabulous perspectives, Julie! The first and the last for sure, but how I love that shot under the bow of the ship. Your talent and skill is astounding.

Your photos are so clear and the colour in the first one is an attention grabber for sure. Congrats Julie.

This is a building that cries out to be photographed from every angle. My wife and I tried.

What light on those Swedish tiles. Fabulossal.

You sure did find some interesting angles. I think I like the one with the ship nosing its way in.

Brilliant shots Julie, the first is fantastic in it's complexity of lines and the last such a good contrast against the blue sky, but all in between just fab!

The colour of the tiles was simply the sun setting, folks.

I am in Melbourne for 5 days, and then Beechworth area for 5 days. Posting may be intermittent.
