And here are two more shots that I include because I listen to my readers. Yes, Joan, I liked the 'hanging gardens', too. And they made a great combination with the glass restaurant. The dome of the QVB which I showed yesterday. looms behind, and above, this restaurant.

Exciting shots.
"Obese slinky" --hehe, I love your title.
You have done it again Julie!!!
Such a great composition, with a candid camera shot too.:)
Boy, I guess so... lol! Interesting, without the person in the shot there wouldn't be a good size reference...
Your photo's make me think I might like Sydney a lot.
I like the sculpture. Sometimes I think that at the end art will let us survive this crisis.
love the garden....
I think I'll just leave obesity alone for the nonce and say I love the hanging garden.

The bloke in the corner gives you an idea of how huge the slinky is.
Love the slinky and the gardens!
Great shots! I like the way the figure humanises the slinky and gives a sense of scale too.
A hidden area I am not familiar with, thanks.
I like the guy in the corner. These wire sculptures are popular in parks now. The hanging gardens are impressive.
Great description of this sculpture. I wonder whether the artist gave it a name?
an intriguing triple shot from you, julie.
That 's a fabulous hanging garden shot, Julie. I find those incredibly difficult to take.
The candid photo is brilliant.
Interesing, particularly the hanging garden. Never been in there (apart from the Marble Bar years ago)
Great shot of the Bronwyn Oliver's sculpture. I didn't know it was there.
Ah ha you gottem. Well done. I figured they would we rather difficult to capture. But the slinky is great ... don't remember seeing it there but it I realise now that it's 5 years since I was doing functions in city hotels.
Fantastic composition of the sculpture! Also love the balcony shots.
