Looking down Essex Street from its intersection with Gloucester Street. The plate glass building, hosting the reflection, is on George Street, the main thoroughfare of our city. This is all down fairly close to the harbour.
I just read that the intersection one below where I am standing to take this - the intersection of Essex and Harrington as it is now - was the location of the very first hanging in the colony. Thought you needed to know this.

The glass building straight ahead is 190 George Street. I worked there around 1988 to 1990.
