Weekend Reflections: Water, wind and light

Astounding, isn't it?

Parts of the water look glassy and glutinous. Yet light can be imploded in this way, totally mangling a simple reflection of a flag.

I quite like it. But I like Picasso, and Dali, and Bacon.

This is my contribution to the Weekend Reflections meme.

It really is amazing Julie, I adore this and also Wednesdays picture as well. Best reflections I've seen in a long while. I hope the New Year sees things improving Julie, very best wishes.

Beautiful captures, Julie. The first one is stunning! Reminds me of quicksilver somehow...

Fabulous, Julie. If you hadn't shown a shot of the flag itself, I'd still be pondering.
I guess it is 2012 in Australia now. Wishing all the best for you, now and always.

Nope, not yet Kay. It has just gone 12 midday, not 12 midnight.

Captivating shot Julie. Our imagination and alertness (or lack of) are all that causes us to miss such photographic opportunities - well done! HNY.
