Camp Cove

Last week I regailed you with Sydney dressed in her best 'naval industrial frock'. In atonement, today I have dressed the old girl in a blend of hubris and hedonism. And, there is more to come.

Jo from A (Bird's-eye) View of Sydney jolted me into a walk around the South Head Heritage Trail. What better day to embark upon this than a New Year's Day that was fine, with blue skies, and a glorious 25C. A must do walk for all locals and their guests. I walked to Edgecliff Station, then caught the 324 bus to Watson's Bay, all of which took about 45 minutes. I walked for three hours. Excellent toilet facilities. And the kiosk at Camp Cove sells Chocolate Paddle Pops for $2.20.

Julie, just want you to know that I cannot open your theme day post; says it doesn't exist. Check the address perhaps. Happy 2012, May all aspects of our lives improve with an abundance of good things to enjoy and savor!

The google map is a nice touch, cannot beat the harbour.

Glad you went for this walk, and look forward to your view of it.
This one is great :) and agree with Peter the map if a great idea...

Thank you, folks. I fuss for ages over framing at times, enough to irritate even myself.

Kate, the problem with the Theme Day thumbnail is somnething I contend with each month. Demosthenes fixes it some months but not others. I just have to live with it.

Now I have to go and buy some chocolate paddle-pops.
(wouldn't it be good if you could buy a box of 10 chocolate and one was a banana one? I like banana ones but I don't need a whole box!).

Yes this is the Sydney I like. And I do like the care you have taken with composing the shot ... that little building in the foreground is just perfect.

The weather is lovely at the moment. Soo nice as I still have 2 weeks hols and more spring cleaning to go.
