What happened to Sydney's blue skies?

We waited out the drizzle, but last Sunday morning never did amount to all that much, weatherwise. However, I did enjoy the visit to Camp Cove with my girls. The photograph, taken by Kirsten, shows us in our 'hatties'. I only have the one summer hat. However, Alannah likes to colour-coordinate her hatties.

This is my contribution to the Skywatch Community.

I could use a hattie at the moment as it is snowing. This looks like nice little beach.

Beautiful clouds Julie, it looks dramatic. Overhere it is just a grey sky with rain. So I could use a hat myself as well. Have a nice weekend!

Overcast and drizzly, but nonetheless, it looks warm and inviting, Julie. We're having snow and freezing temps just now. Our mild winter weather has flown the coop.

Grey skies and lots of rain are features of my peninsula world right now too! When the sun peeks out briefly, I run with my camera and snap almost anything! So sad!

Love this beach image! So refreshingly different from sunbathers and beach umbrellas! A beach is for exploring too!

And love those cloud patterns!

Yes, I quite like to colour co-ordinate my hatties too.
I wish I could wear hatties in a jaunty manner but I just end up looking "special".
Proof.

Alannah doesn't seem to mind the lack of sunshine - there's so much business to attend to at the beach.

How's your big girl doing today?
And how about you?

Charming shot. Yes, my skyscraper is the one above the former Galeries Victoria. They recently renamed it "The Galeries" for some reason.

Beautiful cove there, Julie, and Kirsten caught the sky patterns as well as you and Alannah. Love to see you, if only at some considerable distance.

Looks like a "goldilocks" day (not too hot and not too cold). Lovely photo.

BC: It does doesn't it. However, my feet are wide apart and although I am meant to be scraping the sand and tossing it into the incoming water, what I am actually doing is holding myself up 50% of the time.
