More photographs of Mrs Macquarie's Folly - in colour this time - can be seen in a set on my Flickr album.

This is my contribution to the Weekend in Black and White community.

Beautiful. Has the look of a web about it Julie.

Wow, I wouldn't want to have been the person who built it. SO intricate, and, as Rae said, weblike.

So you have gone to Flickr. I was thinking of doing the same when my Picassa overflowed recently but as I didn't have time I just paid up the $5 to get a humungous amount more of space so I am happy. With the towns project I am uploading more pics than usual.

The Iron lace is truly and artwork of beauty.

I can look at that for a long time. It reminds me of the floor and wall patterns in the Alhambra.

Wonderful shot Julie.
I am very excited, in Newtown for the day and heading to Camperdown Cemetery for some Taphophile therapy.

ow, that is pretty!
btw... i also never read walt whitman. im not that much into american writers/poets i think... i did read michael cunningham, in one book one of the characters keeps citing whitman, which made me curious about him.. but still never read the original. the book is called "specimen days", i liked it a lot.

ah, as for science. im a biochemist (but more bio than chemist), with a special interest in membranes and membrane proteins. but that might be too specific?

This is a lovely abstract shot, Julie. I'm generally loving your B&W work, I have to say.
