This is quite wonderful, Julie. A pensive moment captured.

Such a great title for this shot Julie, of course I'm wondering where these steps are leading, there's a lot of them and very steep too!
I had a feeling that you would pick me up on the use of 'fall'. Autumn didn't fit in with my song reference haha! pffft, who says 'fall' in Oz yeh!!

I put labels on all my posts, but cannot work out how to get them to show!

These are the Opera House steps.

Fantastic Julie, the lines, the look on his face. Great!

Great on so many levels. It has that moment of spontaneity that I love.

Wonderful sense of being lost in your own world! And those steps seem so narrow and steep - beautifully highlighted in monochrome!

Julie! Re labels - You need to click DONE (button just below the list) once you have selected your labels, otherwise they disappear!

Gemma, taa, but I think I do that, press DONE. The labels show on my list of posts within DESIGN. I think it is something to do with the layout. I will go through it all again ...

I find your shots don't show as thumbnails in my reading list as well.

Lovely shot particularly in mono.

What is interesting about this shot to me is the diagonals. Is that how the steps have weathered or is it shadows making them?

It was late in the afternoon (5pm) so the light was wierd.

Great shot, beautifully composed, Julie.

Thank you - he looks stranded doesn't he ... the look is because he handed his camera to his female companion ... and she was obviously struggling ...

Thanks, folks. This slot on the weekend is the challenge of my photographic week. Don't have anything in the can for tomorrow yet, but am out and about this wet and windy Friday in Sydney. First to a neurologist over at RPA then to Camperdown Cemetery to find Ann Maund and Robert Taylor ...
