Half so much worth doing ...

Come over to the CDPB Face Book page and join in voting for a September Theme Day.
The choices are: people watching; roadworks; or, flower boxes.
Voting closes Friday 24th August.

No Ratties, or Moles in sight; lots of simply messing about, though. Catalina Bay, Lake Macquarie.

Love the sailboat shot, Julie. Hard to believe it's winter these...no ice, no snow. :)

Hah! This be the great Oz ... remember! Our winter is a glorious time ... well except for parts of August when the winds blow ...

Have not seen mole in a while but I saw one of the other characters a stoat a few days back as it headed for the hedgerow faster than I could point my camera! This is my idea of boating, beautiful scene.

Love the light in the bottom shot. It looks so warm and relaxing ... though I personally don't much like being on boats.

What beautiful skies! Looks like a great day to be on the water. :)

PS: Do you know if the CDP portal is ever coming back? I prefer not to use FB as it is not private and I don't like to mix my private and blogging lives. But I would like to know about the theme days and such.

Behind Styles Point where the Catalinas used receive passengers, is the best anchorage on lake Macquarie. Nice to see you have been there to remind me. Unfortunately the Swansea Channel is now too shallow for ocean going yachts or I would go in again.
