Memories, of the way we were

The ocean pool at Bar Beach, immediately south of Newcastle.
I squashed into the bus from Catalina Aged Care, with 15 residents and their carers. It was coolish but delightful, and the oldies are a hoot. Norma, whose portrait I featured yesterday, sang 'Memory' in a faltering soprano. She had no clue that Marvin died a day earlier.

This blog participates in the Weekend Reflection meme.

Yes, I can see how that would strike you. I would like to laze on my back, looking at the sky, whilst listening to the cry of the gulls.

Lucky you all weren't on that trip today, you would have been blown away.
Beautiful photos.

Yes, the timing was exquisite, Jo.

The only beach pool I can think of down here in Melbourne is the St. Kilda Baths. They are a great idea. Calm water amongst the rough.

Bluer than blue waters here! Exquisite sea views and the old baths add so much character! Love your comments on what else what happening on this journey!

It is so strange, the way the sea water is waved, and this pool is so quite... Nice !

I have never swum in sea baths ... perhaps I should start one of those bucket lists and add that to it. Perhaps a Summer Bucket List.
