The Winery
The Winery is on Crown Street in Surry Hills, through the historic sandstone gates at 285 Crown and adjacent to the water pumping station. It is a gorgeous place to while away time with friends.
As far as I can determine, Dianne, it has nothing to do with a vineyard, but is purely a modern watering hole. Really great ambience, with a nice selection of wines, and food that is not overwhelming for small eaters.
I do so enjoy places with a nice ambience. We don't seem to do so much of it these days, now we head out to Clandulla so often. But it has its own delights so I am not complaining.

Was it a winery or is it a winery or just a cafe?
I've seen this but not up close.
I could spend a few hours here myself Julie.
