Not all eucalypts shed bark like this. Some do not shed at all.

I just love the peeling bark, in fact I like bark in all its stages but the contrasts are best when it is peeling. Beautiful sharp shots.

I might be labelled a grinch ... but I don't like the bark shedding season. If I stand still outside my home I am in danger of being covered. As you can see this season is unhinging me.
