Heat wave

Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne is the home of the Australian Open Tennis. It has a moveable roof, which, in their wisdom, they decided to keep open during the first Quarter Final Day, as the temperature had not exceeded 40C. Duh! But Di and I were okay as my seat was only in the direct sun for fewer than 30 minutes.

Roger Federer is not a tennis player: he is a dancer, using a raquet, net and ball as props.

Ah, Federer! As far as there are Swiss celebrities, he's probably one.

Ooh - I love that word "probably"! You are a delight, Z.

Thanks so much for your recent feed backs on my HK photos Julie. You made my day... And it's amazing to read how you verbalized the things that I feel, that goes on inside my head for each photo I took.

Thanks again Julie...

He sure is . . . last night's match was beautiful to watch. Hope you're enjoying!

Lucky you; watching it live, although given the temperatures watching it at home in air-conditioned comfort wasn't a bad option.

What fun to be there ... but the heat in Melbourne is not my idea of fun so I am glad I wasn't.

I'll stop complaining about the cold immediately. All I can imagine doing in 40c is lying in a swimming pool.
