Evil - neither see, hear not speak

The 3 Wise Monkeys is a pub on the corner of George and Liverpool Streets in the city. As the badging still proudly proclaims, it commenced as the Southern Branch of the Australasian Bank in 1886 became a branch of the ANZ Bank in 1970 and was converted to licensed premises in time for the Sydney Olympics in 2000. The building is listed in the City of Sydney Heritage Inventory and the Register of the National Estate.

I've walked past that pub so many times and never noticed those.

Good thing they didn't put one with "Drink no evil". Just kidding - I like a pint or two myself.
I really liked the interior shot of the Finger Wharf. All around amazing structure.

I wonder when the monkeys went up there..while it was a bank?

I know how to delete comments, but not edit them - sorry!

Am so annoyed I couldn't make it last night, but the body failed me....nothing to be done. :-(

Still not sure what's going on. "Tests". Results...interminable waiting. I signed myself out of hospital (much medical finger-wagging, except from my GP who advised me to get out of there asap) and now wait - I would instead be waiting there. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH.

Lovely crisp shot of the monkeys, I noticed them often when I lived down that part of town. They always made me smile.

Somehow, those three seem to be very, very appropriate for a pub! :D

A little strange for a bank. Maybe that's why it is a pub now.
