Ships that pass in the night

Ships that pass in the night, and speak each other in passing,
Only a signal shown and a distant voice in the darkness;
So on the ocean of life we pass and speak one another,
Only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence.

from Tales of a Wayside Inn. Part iii. The Theologian’s Tale: Elizabeth. iv., by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Observed at the Sacred Heart Church, corner of Darlinghurst Road and Oxford Street, Darlinghurstm which is now part of The University of Notre Dame, Paddington Campus.

Great concept, well caught, although I prefer the intensity of colour in the first shot to the b&w.

I like this post, completely, from top to bottom, Julie.

About the portal, yes, my blog is there. Thanks for your hard work and for checking on it.

Where is the voting for theme day, please? Thanks!

Julie said...

The voting for Theme Day can be found within the THEME DAY drop-down, and then it is coloured blue and resides on the side-bar of the page where you land!
