Welsh Church

I have a grandmother born in Wales, and down another branch, a great-grandmother born in Wales. Two of my 2*great-grandparents were from Cornwall, but all the others were from Gloucestershire, just across the bay from Wales. This Welsh Church service is held at St Peter's Church in North Sydney.

The only time I was in Wales was a quick day-trip from Oxford with my brother and sister-in-law, but I wish I'd had longer. Most of our ancestors were Scottish, but Davies is a Welsh name, so we've the Welsh blood a generation or two before Grandpa Davies played f'tba' in Glasgow.
Many Scots and many Welsh were Presbyterian. This church is beautiful, Julie. I love the narrow windows and the large stones.

some times its a pain in the ass to read what website owners wrote but this site is real user pleasant..A fascinating discussion is worth comment. I think that you need to write additional on this topic, it may possibly not be a taboo subject but typically individuals aren’t enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

You have been featuring various old churches lately. The church in my post for today was built in 1918. I always enjoy your blog. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
