I am back from my blog break and note I posted an image that was not taken during this awful weather. I have not ventured outside for several days ... inside snug beside a burning fire.
We are fine where we are. It is the poor people in regional areas for whom I have sympathy. To see your house and everything you own float off down a swollen torrent ... I cannot even imagine how that must have felt. I have seen them interviewed, and they are sanguine.

Gosh ... I have been watching the news Julie and it sounds pretty terrible up there. Hope its not affecting you too badly.

Well at least it was worthwhile. Considering the weather systems in your part of the world at the moment, it's a tough slog there for many people.
