Yes, I am sorry, yet another water-lily. Actually, I am not sorry at all. I am mesmerised by their controlled beauty. It is tempting to personify this bud, with its ruffle of bubbles. It is salutary to focus upon the lone bud, awash in a pond replete with sooo much beauty.
This put me in mind of Stevie Smith's 'Not waving but drowning', much of which is not appropriate to quote here, suffice that I do like the last two lines
I was much too far out all my lifeThe song of one who marches to a different drum.
And not waving but drowning.

I love the bubbles, clear as a bell.
This is so beautiful and amazing !!Great photographer you are !!
I love the color and lighting. The reflection and slight ripples in the water are amazing. Beautiful shots!
Indeed--how lovely the one, how gorgeous the crowd! I've never seen red flowering lilies before...they're wonderful.
Beautiful pictures of the lilies
And I thought Monet's garden was beautiful.
These two photos are breathtaking. What a gorgeous color and reflection on the first one. Though I am a macro maniac, I couldn't choose of these two.
These water lily shots are simply wonderful! And loved your comment on the "ruffle of bubbles"!
What an amazing composition, the lilies were beautiful flowers, love it's reflection.
I love the single bud that looks as if it slowly breathing out.
But the mass of red and yellow ones is a shock (especially the red, never seen that colour before in a waterlily)
All those lillies look amazing.

Wow! I love the first photo.
No need to apologise, its so serenely beautiful.
Never apologize for beauty! The first photo is beautiful and magical.
It looks like a fish poking its head out. The second shot is very pretty.
Beautiful photo. I love the next one also. I don't see to many red water lilies here. Mostly we get white or yellow. I have always had a fascination with them also. Interesting lyrics to that song.
I wouldn't be sorry, I love looking at your water lilies. They are gorgeous flowers and you captured them beautifully. the second photo is just awesome!
Wow! beautiful shots.
LOVE the dark reddish hue. the pond down the road just has pink and white. I like this second shot.
Yes, you got it Julie, I've just wanted with these 2 pictures people to imagine a windmill draw by the little storage houses. Nice reflections as always, I prefer the first one, but the second is nice too.

Oh, good, I am glad I am interpreting your photographs and your text correctly, Serge. You are a glorious photographer. I admire your work tremendously.
I love water lilies. The reflection does this one justice.
So much beauty - and that one water lilly is so simple and yet so touchingly beautiful.
Beautiful!
I too thought the first image looked like some sort of aquatic animal rising from the water. These lilies are beautiful colour.
Gorgeous reflections Julie!
Lovely captures.
Simply magnificent!!
